Reliance Jio’s ‘New Year Offer’ – free voice, sms, apps and data – is due to expire on 31 March, 2017 and the company is finally gearing up to charge its customers by pushing ‘ Reliance Jio Prime ’ aka ‘unlimited maza…continue hoynga’ subscription plan which can be activated by paying a onetime fee of Rs 99, which activates the Jio prime membership valid till 31 March, 2018.

To soften the blow on Jio users, who have become accustomed to Jio’s free offers, the company has extended the benefits of its prime membership plan to non-prime members. The benefit to non-prime members remain identical to what the prime members will get – free calls, sms, app — but with a cap on data and limitation on validity.

Prepaid users get to choose from 10 different plans ranging from daily Rs 19 plan to yearly Rs 9,999 plan. For postpaid users there are 3 plans — Rs 303, Rs 499 and Rs 999. Both, postpaid and prepaid users can opt for boosters after they exhaust their data limits.
